The transit across the Panama Canal from the Pacific Ocean side to the Caribbean Sea today was very smooth and we managed to make it in just 8 hours. The ship is now heading for Puerto Limon, a city in the eastern part of Costa Rica. Speaking of Caribbean, the very first thing that pops in my head are the beautiful beaches and resorts.
Atlantic Ocean on the other hand is not to be underestimated. Fine resorts, golf courses and beaches along the coast facing the Atlantic Ocean certainly make a fuss for holidaymakers. I am referring to Hilton Head Island, a popular resort off the southern coast of South Carolina.
The ship is not going there so there would be no chance for me to discover in person more about the place.
