A demo life raft was inflated during the training yesterday. It could have been more interesting if the life raft with crew compliment was lowered into the water after inflation. Anyway, the life raft training was still interestingly informative as crew knowledge in handling life raft was refreshed. Much more to that, the level of awareness for all crew during abandon ship is as well intensified.
To answer that million dollar question that was poked on me by nobody but me (...LOL...) yesterday, well, I decided to remain onboard after the safety training and moved ahead with the book – “Dead Like You”, a Peter James novel. I only stopped reading when I felt my eyelids were getting heavier and before I felt that, I found out that I was way beyond the time limit I set in reading. I know my alarm clock did its part sincerely; I just could not put the book down as the gripping story went deeper far beyond my thoughts could see coming.
