My blog has just recovered from a Trojan attack. I don’t know how serious it was, all I know was that my blog was suspended for few days. My webhost – Ploghost – managed to remove that malicious script and now everything seems fine but I don’t really know for how long.
I just got back in my cabin from the gym. To cool down before jumping into my bed, I find writing this post a relaxing thing to do for now than watching news on TV. I’ve had so much of this Mid East crisis – the chaotic uprising in Libya not to mention the earthquake that struck Christchurch, New Zealand.
Black Watch spent two nights and three days in the port of Callao in Peru but for the whole duration of stay in port, I made a truce with myself about not going ashore. It doesn’t mean that I don’t like the place – I just don’t feel like going out. Unlike last year’s call in Callao, I was out there in Miraflores twice and dined at my favorite

Filipino restaurant – Mc Donald’s. At first, I did not get why my colleagues tagged this popular American fast-food chain “Filipino restaurant” but later on I realized the funny reason behind it. Nevertheless, I don’t find any reason to contest the fact that it really is a “Filipino restaurant”. The proof is strong – Filipino crew always flocked to Mc Donald’s as much and more often as they could whenever they find one. So the verdict is – guilty as charged.
The ship is now at sea again and is heading for Salaverry, Peru – Black Watch’s 16th stop for this year’s cruise around South America.
