IPhone 4’s “Voice Memo” feature really helped me a lot in this post. I simply activated the “Voice Memo” feature, placed the phone close to the Panama Canal commentator who was onboard the ship for the duration of the transit in the canal and boom I have detailed account during the approach to the Miraflores Lock of the Panama Canal. For those who are interested to read what my iPhone 4 has recorded, you may proceed by clicking “Read More”. Well, there is nothing interesting in there actually, so just forget about this post. My blog has just recovered from a Trojan attack. I don’t know how serious it was, all I know was that my blog was suspended for few days. My webhost – Ploghost – managed to remove that malicious script and now everything seems fine but I don’t really know for how long.
I just got back in my cabin from the gym. To cool down before jumping into my bed, I find writing this post a relaxing thing to do for now than watching news on TV. This is the ghostly shipwreck of the Greek freighter Capitan Leonidas taken on February 10, 2011. I am not sure if the wreck is visible in Google Earth but you may try visiting these coordinates:
Latitude 48 degrees 45.27 minutes South and Longitude 074 degrees 25.15 minutes West.

The pilot navigating the ship told me to closely watch the slow pace of the sun as it rose above the mountain. For the past days, I preferred to leave my camera down in my cabin as cloudy skies and intermittent rain messed up quiet a bit the beautiful scenery along the fjords. Fortunately, I brought my camera with me when I came up to the bridge for my watch in that early morning of February 10th.
Scattered low clouds still covered the sun but failed to mess up the scenery; instead it turned out adding natural effects on it. Add a comment Read more: Sunrise in the Chilean Fjords
