Alesund, Norway on June 27, 2010
Black Watch arrived at the port of Alesund on a Sunday, so everything were closed. I did not get off from the ship and to make the most of that lazy Sunday, I decided to spend the whole time sleeping. It’s Sunday, so there is no overtime but of course I got to wake up for my regular watch.
Alesund is a sea port located in the Sunmore region of Norway. It is known for its beautiful and panoramic views, Art-Nouveau architecture and the stunning fjords surrounding the city. Popular attraction of Alesund includes Geirangerfjord, the bird island of Runde and Alnes Lighthouse.
Ship left Alesund at exactly 4:30PM and made her way to the port of Stavanger, the ship’s last Norwegian port for this cruise.
