This morning the 77,000 gross tons cruise ship Sun Princess arrived Papeete and will stay overnight. The huge ship occupied the other side of the wharf where the M/S Paul Gauguin is moored. I planned to visit Sun Princess in the afternoon but it’s impossible due to the strict security measures implemented by all cruise liners. Obviously, I can only take external photos of Sun Princess and forget about the interior of the ship. This is the present day security implementation on ships and aboard the M/S Paul Gauguin, visitors had to be pre-arranged a day before the visit. From the M/S Paul Gauguin, I went to deck 9 and position myself to capture the best possible angle of Sun Princess. I took several photos of the ship and I find these photos below the best my camera is able to produce. To read more about Sun Princess, you may also visit this link

The M/S Paul Gauguin will sail tonight for a cruise to the Marquesas Islands with calls in Rangiroa of the Tuamotu Archipelago and Society Islands top destinations - Bora Bora, Tahaa and Moorea.
