Let me share you here an aerial photo of Bora Bora. This was taken yesterday by my fellow second officer who went out for a helicopter ride. He is doing 12 to 4 watch so he has all the time in the morning to do the tour. The photo puts on view the breathtaking landscape of Bora Bora – the romantic feel of over-water bungalows and the long stretch of white sand beaches with the mountain on the backdrop. Using a magnifying glass…LOL… You can see the M/S Paul Gauguin and the M/S Seven Seas Mariner at anchored in the calm waters inside Vaitape Bay. M/S Seven Seas Mariner is presently on her world cruise which commenced from New Zealand and would end in Los Angeles. While many off duty crew had their great time visiting the other ship, I was at the gangway in front of the computer monitoring every in-coming and out-going passengers. Anyway, I still have one more island where I can spend some hours to do my favorite activity – snorkeling. The stingrays and baby sharks in Tahaa definitely are waiting for my return…LOL… If your magnifying glass doesn’t work, the photo below seems my last bit to give you a better view of the two ships getting together in this famous island in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean.
