It’s a very terrible thing to imagine that someone who seeks medical help to pull out object not suppose to be in that place falls into total humiliation. Now, he is fighting back with 6 million pesos law suit against those involved. This scandal not only brought humiliation to the patient but in general to the Filipino doctors and nurses worldwide. I am not in the medical field but there are professional ethics supposed to be observed which I strongly believed they’ve missed.
Obviously, this person is a gay and sort of a very resourceful one. Funny as it may seem about what this guy did to the cologne canister and I believe he already learned some lesson. But the fact that someone in the O.R. taking a video of the operation and exposing it to the world in You Tube is totally not appropriate. Not all doctors and nurses at Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) were involved in the scandal so let’s be specific in tossing our “boos”.
