I am one of the 4 billion potential spectators who watched on TV this morning the opening of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games opening event was extremely fabulous with the most spectacular and massive fireworks display I’ve ever seen. For the lucky 91,000 people in the National Stadium, their actual presence during the opening event definitely brought them the best deal their ticket has to offer.

Obviously, the 2008 Olympic opening show is the most magnificent and most lively presentation among the previous Olympic opening events in history. In fact, TEAMtalk Sat news mentioned that the 2008 Olympic Games was depicted as the largest and costliest extravaganza in Olympic history. I agree with that considering the tremendous sparkling pyrotechnics explosions, the reported 2,008 drummers performing an all-pounding rhythms and heart pumping acrobatic presentation in the stadium as rockets fired up into the sky.

I saw one gleaming notable present in the opening: US President George W. Bush. I was searching for Philippine President Arroyo but I could not see her but she’s present of course, instead I saw Philippines’ boxing legend, Manny Pacquiao leading the Philippine team.
