Manila Mayor Freddie Lim announced that the “East vs. West” match can be viewed live for free in any of Manila’s sports complexes and covered courts with the city government backing all the expenses for the free admission of this live telecast. Residents close to Tondo Sports Complex, Del Pan Sports Complex, Rasac Covered Court , Dapitan Sports Complex, San Andres Sports Complex and Teresa covered court. Pat C. Santos, have the bigger chances to join the millions of people to witness the big event. Well, this is one rare chance to view the fight live and for free. For many years that passed and for many times that businessmen, organizer and etc. have gained too much profit into their wallets, I think Filipinos deserved to watch these fight of our very own boxing legend for free even just for this time where most Filipino people are experiencing this existing global financial crisis. I greatly appreciate Manila Mayor Freddie Lim’s effort to make the dreams of many Manila residents to watch the boxing match live free into reality. In my previous post regarding Hatton-Pacquiao fight, I mentioned whether boxing enthusiasts in the Philippines would have the chance to watch the Pacquiao-Hatton boxing match live at SM Cinemas. Well, until now I still don’t get some clue. Obviously, I did not spend much effort to research on the cyber space for some information regarding this stuff. I am too occupied with my work at this very moment. I am just checking my blog from time to time and when I checked my blog today, look what I got! I read this comment posted on my blog and it is from Jackie. She mentioned that Irwin Theater, Ateneo de Manila University is showing the Pacquiao-Hatton boxing match live on a pay-per-view basis. I believed there should be more venues to watch this fight live on a pay-per-view basis because obviously this is one great opportunity to reek in profits.
