Manila to Muscat Flight with Qatar Airways

When I travelled to Salalah in Oman to rejoin back to the cruise ship as crew member, it was epic – I went through series of flights and stopovers. That was my first travel to a Middle Eastern country so I was very excited for the whole duration of the flights from Manila. Before those flights, I haven’t been yet to Doha neither in Muscat and Salalah so honestly that trip was some sort of exploration and at the same time my chance of knowing what it was like traveling in this part of the earth; what the food tastes like; the people and everything.

Getting to the destination took me three series of flights, two with Qatar Airways and one with Oman Air. My flights with Qatar Airways were absolutely fantastic. First league of the flight was from Manila to Doha on flight QR 927. Qatar Airways' Boeing 777-300ER was cozy with comfortable leg space even at the economy class not to mention the wide array of inflight entertainment to choose from, the attentive and efficient flight attendants and the food served. A lot would say that airline food is crap but for me airline food is always classy. But the real score during the flight that until now continues to excite me is the mere fact to having a meal at 35,000 feet.

The second league was on board Airbus 320-200 on flight QR 1122 from Doha to Muscat, Oman. It's only an hour long flight so I just gave myself a relaxing treat. I slept for the entire flight almost missing the snacks served mid-air. But the curry smell of the freshly heated sandwich was too tempting so eventually I had a filled gut when the plane touched down Muscat.
My Qatar Airways experience was fantastic and absolutely indulging. The next time I fly especially on long flights, I look forward flying with Qatar Airways again.
